Just say what I say, I say, I say
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
(It's gonna be)
It's gonna be alright
(All you gotta do is say)
(It's gonna be)
It's gonna be alright
When your blue skies turn gray
Just say what I say, I say, I say
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
(It's gonna be)
It's gonna be alright
(All you gotta do is say hey)
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
(It's gonna be)
It's gonna be alright
When your love walked out the door
And your heart can't feel no more, say, say
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
(It's gonna be)
It's gonna be alright
Ooh, the sun
(The sun)
Is shining
No matter what comes your way
There must be
(There must be)
Some rain
(Gotta be some rain in your life)
In order to appreciate the sunshine
All you gotta do is say
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey
It's gonna be alright, alright
No matter what comes, alright
No matter who goes, alright
The ups and downs, alright
Alright, alright, alright, alright
It's gonna be, y'all, alright
It's gonna be, be, be, be alright
The lyrics to LaShun Pace's song "Hey" are a message of hope and encouragement to anyone going through a difficult time. When the world seems to be turning upside down and everything is falling apart, the song reminds us that we can get through it by saying "hey, hey, hey" and believing that everything is going to be alright. The repetition of "hey" throughout the song creates a catchy rhythm that makes the message feel even more empowering.
The lyrics use a metaphor of weather to convey the message that life is unpredictable, and despite the storms that may come, there will always be sunshine on the other side. The line "There must be some rain in your life in order to appreciate the sunshine" is a reminder that challenges and hardships are a natural part of life, and that we can learn and grow from them.
Overall, "Hey" is a song that encourages us to keep going and have faith that everything will work out in the end.
