In 2002 a "Best Of" album with La Bouche and Melanie Thornton was released in Europe and South America.
To commemorate her death, Kayo Shekoni took the place of Natascha Wright with Lane McCray to release "In Your Life" in 2003 featuring vocals of Melanie Thornton in Europe and the USA. It did well in the US, peaking at #6 in the dance billboard charts, alongside Justin Timberlake. They played various club gigs and a side show with Coolio and Jennifer Lopez. Shortly after that the record company "Logic Records" closed down and La Bouche were left to their own devices. Lane McCray has continued La Bouche with Dance-pop singer Dana Rayne. They continue to tour.

Another Night Another Dream
La Bouche Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
It's like a vision of love that seems to be true
Another night, another dream, but always you
In the night I dream of love so true
Just another night, another vision of love
You feel joy, you feel pain, 'cause nothing will be the same
Just another night, it's all that it takes to understand
So baby, I talk, talk, I talk to you
In the night, in your dreams of love so true
I talk, talk, I talk to you
In the night, in your dreams of love so true
In the night, in my dreams, I'm in love with you
'Cause you talk to me like lovers do
I feel joy, I feel pain, 'cause it's still the same
When the night is gone I'll be alone
Another night, another dream, but always you
It's like a vision of love that seems to be true
Another night, another dream, but always you
In the night I dream of love so true
Just another night, another dream, another vision of love
With me, I'm here to set you free
I am your lover, your brother, hey sister let me cover
Your body with my love, as with my love in just another
Vision of love that seems to be true
Oh we do all the things that only lovers do
Vision of love that seems to be true
Oh we do all the things that only lovers do
In the night, in my dreams, I'm in love with you
'Cause you talk to me like lovers do
I feel joy, I feel pain, 'cause it's still the same
When the night is gone I'll be alone
Another night, another dream, but always you
It's like a vision of love that seems to be true
Another night, another dream, but always you
In the night I dream of love so true
I talk, talk, I talk to you
In the night, in your dreams of love so true
I talk, talk, I talk to you
In the night, in your dreams of love so true
In the night, in my dreams, I'm in love with you
'Cause you talk to me like lovers do
I feel joy, I feel pain, 'cause it's still the same
When the night is gone I'll be alone
Another night, another dream, but always you
It's like a vision of love that seems to be true
Another night, another dream, but always you
In the night I dream of love so true

The lyrics of La Bouche's Another Night Another Dream describe a dreamlike state where the dreamer is in love with someone they believe to be their true love. It is a vision of love that appears to be true to the dreamer, but they also feel the pain of the possibility that it may not be real. The dreamer talks to their love in the night, in their dreams, feeling the joy and pain of that love.
The song is a representation of a person's desire to hold on to the hope of finding their true love amidst the possibility of disappointment and heartbreak. They long to be set free and to be with their true love, despite the uncertainty of whether or not that love is real.
In conclusion, the lyrics of Another Night Another Dream by La Bouche are a reflection of the human search for love and the hope that it brings, as well as the pain and heartbreak it can cause. It represents our fears of never finding true love and holding onto hope that it may exist somewhere out there for us.

@@LuisRomero-ru8hk Ooh among all genres it's a bit difficult but I would name:
-Magic Affair - "Omen III" (probably my most favorite song EVER)
-The Outfield - "Your love"
(That song is sooooo damn good and iconic of the 80s sound)
-The Offspring - "Self Esteem"
(The song that made me hooked to the Offspring, I like almost all their songs)
-Michael Jackson - "Smooth Criminal"
(MJ stays an absolutely exceptional 1 in a billion talent artist who influenced and advanced pop and music business in general in multiple ways up to this day)
It's a tough call but all these songs are so super outstanding in their respective genres and eras up until today. At least for me.
But there are a ton of other songs that come close.
Maybe you've just inspired me for some Peter's best of playlists :D

@@davis1744 Agreed! The 90s had some good music. There was another band named "No Mercy" with a song named "Where do you go?". It is so beautiful.
