Nell’estate 2005 la band pubblica un nuovo accattivante singolo dal titolo “Percezione 90”, che viene inserito nella compilation blu di Festivalbar.
Il tour estivo, che culmina con la data del 5 Ottobre al Palalottomatica di Roma, è un successo.
Nei mesi successivi la band comincia a lavorare al nuovo disco ma questa volta per farlo decide di lasciare l’Italia e sceglie un lungo viaggio in giro per l’Europa che dura quasi un anno.
Una serie di esperienze tra Spagna, Portogallo, Olanda, Belgio e Inghilterra impegnano LaDifferenza per tutto il 2006 e parte del 2007 e finiscono inevitabilmente per contaminare la scrittura del nuovo album, dando vita ad alchimie inedite che segnano l’inizio di una nuova stagione artistica.
Il 10 e l’11 marzo 2007 a Londra, LaDifferenza fa il tutto esaurito in occasione del Festival “La Dolce Vita”, che incorona definitivamente i ragazzi come band emergente portavoce della Musica italiana all’estero.
Il secondo album de LaDifferenza dal titolo "Un Posto Tranquillo" esce il 20 luglio 2007 (Universo Spa/East Coast Records) e sin dall’inizio segna una svolta nella carriera della band.
Il tour dell’estate 2007 è molto lungo (circa 30 date) e subisce una serie di sterzate positive verso fine agosto, quando il singolo “Un posto tranquillo” si posiziona tra i dischi più venduti in Italia, debuttando subito alla posizione #2 della classifica FIMI / NIELSEN dopo Vasco Rossi. “Un posto tranquillo” rimane per tutta settembre 2007 nella TOP TEN dei singoli più venduti in Italia, contemporaneamente diventa una delle canzoni più scaricate da Internet e si posiziona anche nella Top Ten Download di I-Tunes.
Il 19 ottobre 2007 esce il nuovo singolo “Disincantatamente”, che dopo solo una settimana dalla pubblicazione, debutta alla posizione # 3 della classifica FIMI / NIELSEN dei singoli più venduti in italia.
Da quel momento in poi “Disincantatamente” rimarrà per ben 2 mesi nella top 20 dei singoli più venduti in Italia fino a fine dicembre 2007.
Il 25 novembre 2007 la band viene premiata al MEI come “Band rivelazione indiepop italiana 2007.
Nei giorni 13-14-15 marzo 2008 LaDifferenza si esibisce nuovamente all’interno de “La Dolce Vita” di Londra, dove riscuote un grande successo per il secondo anno consecutivo.
Il 06 Giugno 2008 LaDifferenza pubblica il nuovo singolo “Bandiere Preziose”, cover / mashup di “Bandiera Bianca” di Franco Battiato e “Precious” dei Depeche Mode.
Esperimento unico nel suo genere, mai realizzato in Italia, frutto di sperimentazioni e collaborazioni con le parole e la musica di due grandi artisti internazionali i quali, dopo aver ascoltato il brano, hanno sposato a pieno il progetto, prestando il consenso alla pubblicazione.
