In mid-2005 we signed our first record deal with Dangerbird Records, situated in the heart of happening Silverlake. Chrysalis Publishing USA became our close friends this year too, so it is only right that we should pack our duffle bags and set up camp in the USA. We've just recorded an album with Mr. Tony Hoffer (Beck, Air, Supergrass, Belle & Sebastian) and can't wait to be travelling the world playing it to people this year. We look forward to giving you something original and inspiring when we meet.
Sing Song Sung
La Rocca Lyrics

Overkill just a bit
Easy does it
Good and hard just may hit
Oh you see this working
You and me been hurting
All this time we're being spun
Sing song sung
Drummer bleeding
It's his pulse you're feeling
Singer screaming
Words you been feeling
Oh you see it working
You and me been hurting
All the time we're being spun
Just to sing song
Sing song sung
Oh you see it working
You and me been hurting
All the time we're being spun
Just to sing song
Sing song sung
Just to sing song
Sing song sung
Just to sing song
Sing song sung
Just to sing song
Sing song sung
Just to sing song
Sing song sung
The La Rocca song "Sing Song Sung" seems to explore the idea of musicians putting their all into their music, even if it may seem like overkill or too hard. The lyrics emphasize that even though it may be difficult, pushing oneself to go the extra mile can pay off in making a powerful and meaningful song. The idea of "being spun" and going through difficult times can also be interpreted as the creative process, where musicians may struggle to find inspiration or hit a creative block. However, in the end, the hard work and dedication will result in a song that can connect with listeners and evoke emotions.
The lyrics also reference the physicality and intensity of live performances with lines such as "drummer bleeding, it's his pulse you're feeling" and "singer screaming, words you've been feeling." These lines suggest that the passion and energy put into a live show can be cathartic and relatable for both the performers and the audience.
Overall, "Sing Song Sung" is a song about putting one's heart and soul into music, even if it may be painful or challenging at times. The song's catchy melody and upbeat tempo contrast with the deeper themes explored in the lyrics, making it a complex and insightful piece of music.
