A su bola
La Vela Puerca Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Alguien me dijo que no sirve de nada
que haya buen tiempo si no hay nada que hacer

Se arma la vela why cada uno a su bola
que esto no es joda why que aparezca de una vez

Sere el presidente
de un sindicato
para darle a mi gente
todos mis zapatos

que pocas ganas de poner un negocio
pa que tu socio te serruche los pies
yo te conozco te he visto por la zona
vos sos el brujo que cura la vejez

Overall Meaning

In the beginning of La Vela Puerca's song "A su bola," the lyrics state that someone has told the singer that good weather is useless if there is nothing to do. This sets the tone for the rest of the song, implying that the singer values action and productivity. The phrase "a su bola" roughly translates to "doing your own thing," indicating that each person in the world is responsible for their own actions.

The chorus repeats the phrase "se arma la vela," which means "the candle is lit." This suggests that the action is about to begin, and that everyone should be prepared to do their own thing. The singer reminds the listener that "esto no es joda," or "this is not a joke," indicating that the singer is serious about their intentions.

In the bridge, the singer announces their ambition to become the president of a union in order to help people, even if it means giving away their own belongings. The final verse accuses someone of being a false healer and a trickster, using the phrase "vos sos el brujo que cura la vejez" or "you are the witch doctor who cures aging."

Overall, the song emphasizes the importance of taking action and doing one's own thing, regardless of what others may say or do. It encourages self-expression and individuality in a world where many people conform to societal norms.

Cómo suena esta Vela....2020 y seguimos con esto!!! 💪❤️

@Soyalemorin

Esta versión es de 1999 de la reedición del deskarado que dicho la vela puerca en letras blancas en la tapa se diferencia por los arreglos y por qué en el deskarado de 1998 no hay trompeta solo saxo, se nota mucho en paren hoy, en madre resistencia y especialmente en esa canción a su bola que en el solo de vientos toca coli el saxo y después ale la trompeta en la otra versión es solo saxo, bueno es un dato nomás ya que hay mucha gente que no tiene idea de esto. Vamos la vela.
