Danz!
Dance around dance dance around
Dance around dance dance around
Dance around dance dance dance
Stereo, mi buen doctor… ¡oh me daño, oh me daño!
Ahora no puedo parar: my feet el sound, el dance around
Danz!
Dance around dance dance around
Dance around dance dance around
Dance around dance dance dance
Danz!
The lyrics to La Vida Bohème's song 'Danz!' are straightforward, yet impactful. The singer sings about being unable to stop dancing, even if it is causing them harm. The line "Stereo, mi buen doctor... ¡oh me daño, oh me daño!" translates to "Stereo, my good doctor... oh it hurts, oh it hurts!" This can be interpreted as the music being the "doctor" that is healing the singer, but also causing them pain due to the addictive nature of dancing.
The chorus of the song simply repeats the word "danz" (the Spanish word for "dance") and encourages the listener to keep dancing. The repetition of the word and the upbeat tempo of the song creates an infectious energy, mirroring the addictive nature of dance.
Overall, the lyrics celebrate the joy and release that come from dancing, while also acknowledging the potential negative consequences. The song serves as a reminder to let loose and enjoy the moment, even if it means pushing past physical limitations.
