Climb on Board

I, I don't know-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
To another planet, to another destination
Must be my drink, must be something I took
But you should climb on board
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-board
Something tells me I'm almost there
In the middle of no where
So I say come follow me
Come follow me, come
I'll take you to a place I know
But just before you come follow me
Come follow me, come
Just put two three more down the floor
And I'm off into the clouds
Don't know if I will find my way
Back down, what a feeling
And you're dancing no
Baby, I, I, I'm go-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-ing somewhere
I, I don't know-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
To another planet, to another destination
Must be my drink, must be something I took
But you should climb on board
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-board
Something tells me I'm almost there
(What?)
Cause I'm out of my head with my lady holding me up
I told her come follow me
Come follow me, come
I'll take you to somewhere I go
Cause girl if you don't come, come my way
You might just get left on your own
And I'm off, into the clouds
Don't know if I will find my way back down
What a feeling and your dancing no
Baby, I, I, I'm go-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-ing somewhere
I, I don't know-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
To another planet, to another destination
Must be my drink, must be something I took
But you should climb on board
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-board
Now I'll be on, my merry way
And I hope that you would come on
For the ride, for the ride
For the ride, for the ride
Baby, I, I, I'm go-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-ing somewhere
I, I don't know-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
To another planet, to another destination
Must be my drink, must be something I took
But you should climb on board
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-board
Baby, I, I, I'm go-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-ing somewhere
I, I don't know-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
To another planet, to another destination
Must be my drink, must be something I took
But you should climb on board
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-board
The lyrics of Labrinth's song "Climb on Board" convey a sense of adventure and escapism. The singer expresses a desire to go somewhere, a destination he is not quite sure of, and invites his listeners to climb on board with him on this journey. He hints that something he drank or took may have propelled him into a state of mind that is beyond his control and has led him to explore other planets or realms.
The singer's use of metaphors like going into the clouds or being in outer space adds to the mystique of the song's lyrics. The chorus urges the listeners to climb on board, indicating that the singer is willing to share this experience with them. He also acknowledges that he has a companion (a lady) who is holding him up, and he is happy to have her join him on his journey.
The lyrics are open to interpretation but can be seen as a call to escape the mundane and embark on a journey of self-discovery that may take the person to new and exciting places. The song also suggests that the journey may have been triggered by external factors, but the destination is one that is unknown yet worth pursuing.
