This was New York at its best. I am from NC but because I went to A&T with so many New Yorkers and having relatives there in the summer. I absorbed all the music. Made many cassettes with Shep Pettibone, Timmy Regisford. As a dj, thats how I created my style. Its the music, but its also painting the picture. This music in the late 70's early 80's provided an amazing canvass! I truely feel that all the best music has been made! No disrespect. just my opinion.

I can remember when David Todd played this on Friday nights and Donald Stone played this on Saturday nights, Catacomb's would be packed and the dance floor energy would be enormous. The crowd would be jamming. those were the days. Memories of the 1980's and Catacomb's. I can't wait for the get together later this month June 22. 2013. Catacomb's 212 S. 12th St Phila, PA Sigma Sound Studio. We thought it would never happen but it will happen again.

Their were nights at Man's Country in Chicago that the children wanted all 4 mixes (on 2 12inches)blended and mix. I remember playing this for over a half hour. And though we didnt have a Richard Long sound system we did well.Peace brett
