I can understand that, but with that all said, that’s the kind of hug you generally give to a lover of some kind, not your child. And it’s not because it’s some socially acceptable rule of behavior, it’s just that with so much contact with another human body, that kind of intimate hug is normally something people reserve for sexual or romantic partners, which is what makes this weird.
