Brown Eyes
Lady Gaga Lyrics
In your brown eyes, walked away
In your brown eyes, couldn't stay
In your brown eyes, you watch her go
And turn the record on
And wonder what went wrong
What went wrong
If everything was everything
But everything is over
If only we were older
Guess it's just a silly song about you
And how I lost you
And your brown eyes
In your brown eyes, I was feeling low
'Cause the brown eyes, and you never know
Got some brown eyes, but a soft face
I knew that it was wrong
So baby, turn the record on
Play that song
Where everything was everything
But everything is over
Everything could be everything
If only we were older
I guess it's just a silly song about you
And how I lost you
And your brown eyes
Brown eyes
Everything was everything
But baby it's the last show
Everything could be everything
But it's time to say goodbye so
Get your last fix, and your last hit
Grab your old girl with her new tricks
Honey, yeah, it's no surprise
That I got lost in your brown eyes
In your brown eyes
Brown, brown eyes
Your brown eyes
Brown, brown eyes
Got some brown eyes
Brown, brown eyes
Your brown eyes

BROWN EYES - Lady Gaga (lyrics)
In your brown eyes
I walked away
In your brown eyes
I couldn’t stay
In your brown eyes
You’ll watch her go
Then turn the record on
And wonder what went wrong
What went wrong?
If everything
Was everything
But everything is over
Everything
Could be everything
If only we were older
I guess it's just a silly song about you
And how I lost you
And your brown eyes
In your brown eyes
I was feeling low
'Cause they're brown eyes
And you never know
Got some brown eyes
But I saw her face
I knew that it was wrong
So baby
Turn the record on
Play that song
Where everything
Was everything
But everything is over
Everything
Could be everything
If only we were older
I guess it's just a silly song about you
And how I lost you
And your brown eyes
Brown eyes
Everything was everything
But baby, it's the last show
Everything could be everything
But it's time to say goodbye, so
Get your last fix and your last hit
Grab your old girl with her new tricks
Honey yeah
It's no surprise that I got lost
In your brown eyes
In your brown eyes
Brown, brown eyes
Your brown eyes
Brown, brown eyes
Got some brown eyes
Brown, brown eyes

The closest she could come to specifically this song was probably “You and I” on Born This Way. I believe that her album with the most replay value is definitely The Fame. I love her other work as well, but The Fame is my favourite.
Here’s my personal best to worst ranking of her album:
1. The Fame
2. Artpop
3. The Fame Monster
4. Joanne
5. Born This Way
6. Cheek to Cheek
I don’t hate Cheek to Cheek, but I have to put it at the bottom because within less than a year she went from Artpop and how brash and pop-py her style is straight into jazz and soul. The music was good, but not something I’d often go back and listen to. Very odd era.
Can’t wait for Chromatica! #LG6

I had two of the most beautiful, loving babies for 9 & 12 years. They were dogs, but they were my best friends and my entire world. I lost them both this year, and I will forever be heartbroken after losing them. I would give 20 years off my own life if I could have them back for another 10. I miss their sweet faces and their beautiful brown eyes.

This song always make me cry, really, i can't explain the feeling i feel inside of me when i hear this. Lady Gaga, she's my everything.

i first heard this song when i was in 7th grade, there was a boy i had a crush on and i missed out on it. it was stupid. i would listen to this song on repeat before bed thinking of him. years later i have just gone through my first real heart break and this song feels like it was meant for now. it feels appropriate now. i understand.

that's beautiful :)
