I will FOREVER LOVE this song because it saved my sanity during an abusive relationship. He was always ringing my phone whenever I was away from him for even the shortest of times so I used to have this song on repeat as a way to subliminally get out my anger towards him. WHORESRUS She didn’t mean Beyoncé tho. The collab is originally called Burka. Gaga wanted to release Burka( the sequel with Beyoncé) as the lead single for Artpop. Gaga’s record company denied the idea and insist on using Applause as the lead single. So Gaga leaked Burka even before the album came out as a “F you”. Things got messy. The collaboration didn’t happen. Gaga changed Burka to Aura. In Burka, Gaga says “ I killed my boyfriend” referring to Paparazzi. In Aura Gaga says “I killed my former” referring to Burka.
