In Lady Leshurr's song "Glucose," she confidently asserts herself as what "the mandem," referring to both men and women, want and need. She takes pride in her desirability and asserts her dominance in the dating scene. The lyrics suggest that she has the power to attract and take anyone's partner, as she confidently states, "I'll take your man no sweat, you better call him please, he's calling me." Lady Leshurr uses her physical attributes, particularly her abs, as a source of attraction and confidence, declaring, "He said my abs on fleek, all eyes on me."
The song plays with the idea of being the desired one, as Lady Leshurr adopts a playful and flirtatious tone. She is aware of the attention she receives from multiple suitors, emphasizing that she has choices, saying, "There's four guys on me, rose and I want wine on me, wanna spend time on me." She warns others to act accordingly and not get too close, as she is aware of her own allure and the effect it has on others.
Overall, "Glucose" is a bold and self-assured anthem about personal power and desirability. Lady Leshurr embraces her status as someone who is desired by both men and women, asserting herself as the ultimate choice for the "mandem."
