Lady Pank is quite a curiosity on the Polish musical market. They got popular before they were actually... formed! The group, which was originally planning to call itself "Żużel", received a lot of media coverage as a result of a skilfully conducted promotional campaign combined with group's questionnable talent.

Bezsenność zabija mnie
Za oknem wyje pies
Naprawdę nie wiem co jest
Z sufitu nie czytam już
Moje oczy żyją bez snu
Na wieży bije dzwon
Uciekać muszę już stąd
By aleją białą biec
Do ogrodu naszych serc
Tam gdzie nikt nie mówi: "nie"
Korytarzem z białych ścian
Bez łańcuchów i bez bram
Na puszysty spadać śnieg
W jej oczach mieszka grzech
Ten grzech to był mój pech
Szukałem każdego dnia
To duch, to nie byłem już ja
Podpalić chciałem most
Uciekać przed siebie wprost
Kolorów trzeba mi
A może nowej krwi ?..
By aleją białą biec
Do ogrodu naszych serc
Tam gdzie nikt nie mówi: nie
Korytarzem z białych ścian
Bez łańcuchów i bez bram
Na puszysty spadać śnieg
By aleją białą biec...
By aleją białą biec...
Jest piąta, budzi się dzień
Bezsenność zabija mni
The song "Piąta Rano" by Lady Pank describes the feeling of restlessness and longing for escape. The singer is unable to sleep, haunted by their own thoughts and desires. The sound of a dog howling outside adds to their unease. The singer admits they don't know what they want or what's happening inside them anymore. They can't even find solace in reading or daydreaming, as their mind refuses to rest. They feel a sense of urgency to escape from their surroundings and find refuge in a place "where nobody says no." This place is described as an idyllic garden of hearts, white corridors without chains or gates, and snow falling softly.
The singer confesses to a sin that seems to have consumed them. They have been searching for something every day, losing themselves in the process. They feel like they're not themselves anymore. They even contemplate burning bridges with their past and identity to escape from themselves. They crave new experiences and sensations, perhaps even a different kind of life. The repetition of the phrase "by aleją białą biec" (to run down the white avenue) serves as a metaphor for the singer's desire to flee from their current situation and find something new.
