I learned to pray with my eyes closed.
Prayer was taught to me as a reflex, without any thought or appreciation for its meaning or purpose.

I did not realize that blindly relying on divine intervention without any effort on my part is not true spirituality.

The relentless pursuit of material success and social status leaves no room for compassion and human connection.

Raise up your hands for the blessing. Bow your heads and bury your gold. Close your eyes to compassion. Say your prayerse and wait for your circle to grow.
People put their faith in an empty ritualism that substitutes material wealth for spiritual fulfillment, and ignores the plight of those in need.

America Have we no ounce of love in our veins?
The dominant ethos of our society has eroded our capacity for empathy and compassion, and we have become a nation devoid of love.

America Dream your dreams Of wealth and success in Jesus name.
Even religious beliefs are leveraged to empower individualistic pursuits and materialistic gain, rather than fostering spiritual growth and connection to others.
