Sweat pants cause i'm chilled today
Tell myself that i'm okay
But i lied i'm not okay
Feelin' like i'm crazy i've
Fallen for the boy who's superfly
Don't look don't act like my type
Maybe thats just what i like
He's always been a friend to me
I never have to pretend to be
He makes me crazy i don't know why
When he's gone it feels like i--
CHORUS:
I lose myself when i'm around you
I go crazy, i can't be held
Held responsible, held responsible but maybe
I will i won't
I don't konw that much but baby
All i know is that i won't be held
Responsible for how i feel no more
No more
No i won't be held responsible
I pull over to a crib in a sixty-nine
El camino with a silver line
Got me feelin' that old school style
Got me feelin' that old school smile
I can't help when he looks at me
I never saw him so good to me
Roll the top down no place to be
Just laughin' 'bout how we used to be
Yeah
He's always been a friend to me
I never have to pretend to be
He makes me crazy i don't know why
When he's gone it feels like i--
[CHORUS]
The more
I try to fight the way that i feel
I fall for you 10 times more
And now i know that if i stay
That we've got something worth fighting for
'Cause i lose myself
I cant be held
Held responsible
I will i wont
I dont know that much but baby
All i know is that i wont be
Held responsible
[CHORUS] X 2
No no no more
No no no more
You know i wont be held responsible no more
No no no more
You know i wont be held responsible
No more
The song "No More" by Lalaine is a heartbreak anthem about a girl who is struggling to deal with her feelings for her friend. The lyrics are very relatable to anyone who has fallen for someone they know they shouldn't have. The song is about the internal conflict that the girl feels, but ultimately decides that she won't be held responsible for her feelings anymore.
The first verse describes her waking up and feeling like something is not right, but trying to convince herself that she's okay. However, she knows the truth that she has fallen for her friend who is not her type. In the second verse, she talks about hanging out with him and feeling nostalgic about the old times, but then realizes that she wants more than just friendship from him.
The chorus of the song is very powerful, as she declares that she can't be held responsible for her feelings anymore. She knows that she's fallen for him and can't fight it anymore. In the bridge, she acknowledges that she's tried to fight it, but the more she does, the more she falls for him. She decides that they have something worth fighting for.
