Lali was born in 1991 in the Parque Patricios neighborhood of Buenos Aires to María José Riera and Carlos Espósito. She began her career at age 12 in the children's TV series Rincón de Luz, created by producer Cris Morena. Between 2004 and 2005, she played the role of Roberta in the children's telenovela Floricienta, and a year later, played Agustina Ross in the children's series Chiquititas Sin Fin, which was broadcast on the Telefe channel. She also participated in the theatrical adaptations of her previous series.
In the year 2007 she played the role of Marianella "Mar" Rinaldi in Casi Angeles, a juvenile series that was aired until 2010 on Telefe and was broadcast in several countries. The actress also participated in the theatrical adaptations of the same program. Lali's first try at music was as part of the Teen Angels, a band that originated in the Casi Ángeles series. The group toured Latin America, Spain, and Israel and issued five full-length albums between 2007 and 2012, as well as two compilations -- all were certified gold or platinum.
While pursuing music she continued to act. In 2011, Lali performed in the telenovela Cuando Me Sonreís by Tomás Yankelevich. A year later, while still in Teen Angels, she made her film debut in La Pelea de Mi Vida. She also expanded her portfolio to include the theater: She played Abigail Williams in Arthur Miller's The Witches of Salem. In January 2013, she began acting in the television comedy Solamente Vos and released her debut solo album, A Bailar, the same year. It landed on the upper rungs of the pop charts in Argentina and throughout South America. She also performed as the opening act for Ricky Martin's annual charity event.
In 2015, Lali toured in support of her albums -- and as an opener for Perry's The Prismatic World Tour, and began a two-year run starring in the telenovela Esperanza Mía. The following year she starred in Ariel Winogrand's comedy feature film Permitidos; its rights were acquired by Disney. In July 2016, she issued her second full-length, Soy, which attained gold status and hit number two at pop in Argentina. She toured with Fifth Harmony and Martin.
The following year she undertook the beginning of her own two-year Lali en Vivo tour. She issued a pre-release single "Una Na" in July, and in November made her debut concert performance at Luna Park. She followed it with second single "Tu Novia" the same month, and in December, on Christmas day, released "Tu Sonrisa," which hit the top spot on Argentina's singles charts. In February, she was featured on Mau y Ricky and Karol G's hit remix of "Mi Mala," with Becky G and Leslie Grace. On April 13, her third pre-release single, "100 Grados," a duet with Peruvian hip-hop singer A.Chal, was released and again placed in Argentina's Top Five. In september the film "Acusada" was shown in the cinemas, and it was well claimed by the critiques. Lali's role was something completely different from what she had done. In November the album Brava was released. "Sin querer queriendo" with Mau y Ricky, and "Caliente" with Pabllo Vittar were smash hits.
In 2019 "LALIGERA" was premiered as the first single of the new album. Later, "Como Así" with CNCO.
In november of 2020 Lali released her fourth studio-album called "Libra", with the participation of Mau y Ricky, Noriel, Cazzu, among other artists. Before, she had collaborated with Los Ángeles Azules in "Las Maravillas de la Vida".
In 2021 Lali arrived Netflix's screen with "Sky Rojo", from the creators of Money Heist. The two-season show was a complete success in several countries around the globe. It has been confirmed that a third season is coming in 2023. Apart from that, she participated as a judge at La Voz Argentina with Mau y Ricky, Ricardo Montaner and Soledad Pastoruti.
In 2022, La Voz Argentina 2 has been broadcasted on Telefe. Lali has performed on the stages with her #DisciplinaTour around several countries, having sold more than 500k tickets. Now, the fans are expecting her fifth studio album and Sky Rojo 3 arriving next year.

'Cê vai ficar querendo mais, mais, mais, mais
A ver cómo baila la gente
Entre el humo y el aguardiente
Díganme cómo se siente
(Caliente, caliente)
A ver cómo baila la gente
Entre el humo y el aguardiente
Díganme cómo se siente
Caliente (caliente)
A festa nunca termina
Meu jeito te alucina
Você vá a pedir mais
Te mostro como é que se faz
Toda la noche, quiero besar su boca
Deja, me deja loca
Porque yo quiero mucho más
Toda la noche, quiero besar su boca
Deja, me deja loca
Porque yo quiero mucho más
A ver cómo baila la gente
Entre el humo y el aguardiente
Díganme cómo se siente
(Caliente, caliente)
A ver cómo baila la gente
Entre el humo y el aguardiente
Díganme cómo se siente
Caliente (caliente)
(Escucha bien lo que te digo)
A festa nunca termina
Meu jeito te alucina
Você vá a pedir mais
Te mostro como é que se faz
Toda la noche, quiero besar su boca
Déjame, deja loca
Porque yo quiero mucho más
A ver cómo baila la gente
Entre el humo y el aguardiente
Díganme cómo se siente
Caliente, caliente
A ver cómo baila la gente
Entre el humo y el aguardiente
Díganme cómo se siente
(Caliente, caliente)
A ver cómo baila la gente
Entre el humo y el aguardiente
Díganme cómo se siente (hey!)
(Caliente, caliente)
A ver cómo baila la gente
Entre el humo y el aguardiente
Díganme cómo se siente
Caliente (caliente)

The lyrics to Lali's song Caliente is an invitation to let go and indulge in the moment, allowing oneself to get swept up in the heat and passion of the night. The song opens with the lyrics "Vente, que se te prenda fuego la mente," which roughly translates to "Come, let your mind catch fire," inviting the listener to let their curiosity lead them. The lyrics go on to say that there is no leader in the place they are in, and that one can dance freely from east to west. It's a call to live in the moment and not hold back.
The chorus of the song further emphasizes the theme of living in the moment and letting go. Lali sings, "A ver cómo baila la gente, entre el humo y el aguardiente, Díganme cómo se siente, caliente, caliente," which translates to "Let's see how the people dance, amongst the smoke and the liquor. Tell me how it feels, hot, hot." The lyrics continue to implore the listener to indulge in the moment and experience everything fully, with no inhibitions.
Overall, the lyrics are an ode to passion and the joys of living in the moment.
