The band started out back in 1996. Todays band composition came together in 1998. The band has put their emphasis on being a smashing live band, something they proved when they hit the stage at by:Larm (equivalent to "South by South West" in the US and "In the City" in the UK) in Tromso, Norway, in 2001. They played together with Norwegian bands Farout Fishing and Drunk, and both the media and the crowd enjoyed themselves at the spectacular show Lame Ducks put on.
In May 2001 the band head out to tour with UK ska-punk act SPUNGE. On their Norwegian leg of the tour, the band did 4 shows with Spunge, and this ended up as being their break thru in Norway.
In May/June 2002 the band did their first two tours in Europe. They played 15 gigs in Germany and Switzerland. In the summer of 2002 they played at Arvika festival in Sweden – with bands like Amulet, Bombshell Rocks and Division of Laura Lee.

These lyrics are about someone who feels like they're being toyed with by another person. The first few lines describe how the singer is being treated: their mind is being messed with, and it's driving them crazy. The person they're talking about is making them feel like they're being run over by a freight train - completely out of control and powerless. The singer is being pushed to the edge, closer and closer to falling into the "realms of their mind". They feel like this person is messing with their thoughts and fooling with their mind, always lurking in the shadows.
As the song goes on, the singer seems to be confronting the other person, asking them what they're trying to accomplish with their behavior. They accuse the other person of deceiving everyone with their "psychopathic mind games". The singer refuses to fall down and out again, indicating that they've been in this situation before and don't want to go through it again.
The chorus switches gears a bit, asking the other person if they understand the psychological impact of their actions. The singer wonders if the other person knows what it's like to feel like you don't have any feelings, like everything has been erased. The song ends with the singer wishing they could turn back time to before they met the other person and erase all the things they've said.
