Lana Lane grew up in a very music-oriented family, with the sounds of her mother's voice and the radio constantly filling the air. Naturally, Lana picked this up and started becoming seriously interested in singing in high school. She moved to Los Angeles to further her career where she met future husband, music producer, and synth/keyboardist Erik Norlander. The two eventually founded their own production company/record label Think Tank Media to release their work. She has produced many recordings using a many guest musicians such as Pain of Salvation's Kristoffer Gildenlow.
Arjen Anthony Lucassen, mastermind of Ayreon, Ambeon, Stream of Passion, and Star One, took note of Lana's voice, and the two have collaborated on a few projects together. Arjen took a part in the writing of Tarot, and Lana did guest vocals on Ayreon's Universal Migrator albums, for example.
Lana has produced many albums over the years, though Secrets of Astrology and Queen of the Ocean are the most widely known.

For the man who stole your water
And you fire till he's done in
But they catch you on the border
And the mourners are all singing
As they drag you by your feet
But the Hangman isn't hanging
And they put you on the street
You go back, Jack, do it again
Wheels turning 'round and 'round
You go back, Jack, do it again
Well, you know she's no high climber
Then you find your only friend
In a room with your two timer
And you're sure you're near the end
Then you love a little wild one
And she brings you only sorrow
All the time you know she's smilin'
You'll be on your knees tomorrow
You go back, Jack, do it again
Wheels turning 'round and 'round
You go back, Jack, do it again
Now you'll swear and kick and beg us
That you're not a gamblin' man
Then you find you're back in Vegas
With a handle in your hand
Your black cards can bring you money
So you hide them when you're able
In the land of milk and honey
You must put them on the table
You go back, Jack, do it again
Wheels turning 'round and 'round
You go back, Jack, do it again
The lyrics of Lana Lane's "Do It Again" tell a story of a man caught in a cycle of making the same mistakes over and over again. The song begins with the man seeking revenge against someone who stole from him, and the law catching up to him before he can accomplish his vengeance. Despite this, he continues to try and repeat his actions, with the lyrics saying "you go back, Jack, do it again / wheels turning 'round and 'round / you go back, Jack, do it again." The cycle continues as he falls for a woman who causes him nothing but trouble, and even though he knows she's not good for him, he can't help but continue to pursue her.
The final verse of the song finds the man denying that he's a gambler, only for him to end up right back where he started: in Las Vegas with cards in his hands. Despite the fact that he knows this is a cycle that will only bring him harm, he continues to make the same mistakes over and over again.
Overall, "Do It Again" is a cautionary tale about the dangers of being stuck in a cycle of repeating past mistakes, and the lyrics paint a vivid picture of a man who can't escape his own destructive tendencies.
