They managed immediately in the hard task to join the cold and electronic computer sounds, the imperfect fascination of toys with the warmth of piano and acoustic instruments. Their live set is characterized by the inappropriate use of the instrumentation and of the song-like structure to create mad and unpredictable musical architectures.
They are now promoting their first EP, produced by Plastic Sun and designed by UmiDelMare.

LaPingra è un progetto che nasce nel gennaio 2007 quando Angela Tomassone e Paolo Testa decidono di fondere la propria materia musicale in una “no man’s land” sospesa tra elettronica, pop, infantilismo e musica low-fi.
Riescono sin da subito nel difficile compito di unire i ritmi freddi ed elettronici del computer, il fascino impreciso dei giocattoli ed il calore del piano e degli strumenti acustici.
