Where You Been
Lara and the Bluz Dawgz Lyrics
WHERE ARE YOU GOD?
Where are you God?
I need you now
I cannot take another single ounce of pain
Where is the place
That I can go
to find Your arms of love to wrap around my soul
I’ve tried everything, been everywhere, with everyone you seeAnd nothing seems to heal my broken heart
There is no one, and no where, and nothing I've found
That helps to ease
My suffering
Where are you God?
I need you now
I need to feel the love You feel for me somehow
Why is it so?
Why must this be?
How cruel the veil that separates Your face from me
The nights are long
The days are dark
And refuge seems so far
No one to see, nowhere to go, nothing to do
Oh God,
How I need You..
The enemy’s right next to me
And won’t leave me alone
I can’t break free
It’s killing me
I’m losing all control
Where are you God?
I need you now
I need to hear Your tender voice say it's okay
Please hold me now
Please take my pain
I can't endure this agony
It’s blinding everything I see
I know you know
You’ve felt it too
You know exactly
what I’m going through
You’ve felt my pain
You suffered too
So You’re the only One who knows just what to do
So I’m calling out Your name
I’m reaching out to You
Where are you God?
I need You now
I cannot take another single ounce of pain
Where are you God?
I need You now
I need to feel the love You feel for me somehow
Where are you God?
I need You now
I need to hear Your tender voice say it’s okay
Where are you God?
I need You now
I need You now
I need You now
Where are You God?
I need You now
I need You now
Where are you God?
Please help me make it through
Another day or two
Until the day that I
Can return to be with You.
Where are you God?
I need you now
I cannot take another single ounce of pain
Where is the place
That I can go
to find Your arms of love to wrap around my soul
I’ve tried everything, been everywhere, with everyone you seeAnd nothing seems to heal my broken heart
