Starting his work with early big name DJ's such as Jez and DJ Grub, he had created a group called Sunburst which was critically acclaimed within the blossoming rave scene, as well as the newly born drum and bass scene (after DNB had transcended the boundaries of the Jungle genre). Taking things more mellow, Laroque has stuck with more individual, soulful, and funky productions, yet he still actively works with a plethora of DJ's and musicians.
