I bought this record, always liked it, and have been mystified for more than 60 years at its total lack of success. The Upsetters were never better, Larry was his usual energetic self, and the song he wrote was a unique combination of 1958 rock and late twenties uptempo.
I think that Larry expected great things as well, because the failure seemed to let the air out of his career, and he went on to lesser things.
