Lars was born in Norwegian town of Skien which is located in Southern Norway.Lars has been singing from an early age and he was a member of Oslo's church choir that enabled him to travel in different countries in the world and selling more than 700 000 CD's.
On February 28th 1998 he finally won The Norwegian Final which is called Melodi Grand Prix 1998
