1) Last Hope is a Bulgarian hardcore band set up in 1994. With their very first demo-album, Last Hope succeeded in getting the attention of the Bulgarian audience. A year later the band gathered with their "brothers in arms" Face Up and together camе with a split-album, winning much more respect.
After their start in 1998, Last Hope got in a studio to record their official debut album "One for One". Concerts followed in the whole country and in the end of 2000 their first video was ready. 2001 is unusually good year for Last Hope, because of their participation in festivals in countries like Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia and Greece. The European invasion is followed by records of new songs for the compilation "3-Way Split" (featuring Vendetta and Skinflick), and a little bit later the four band members created their second album "My Own Way". Alongside many bands from the Bulgarian hardcore and punk scene like Vendetta, Crowfish, Skinflick, Not Broken in Spirit, the biggest impression made the massive foreign presence with Janne from the Finnish hardcore pride Endstand, Aca Choice from the Serbian old school champions Hitman and mostly Jimmy G from the NY legends Murphy's Law.
After the release in the spring of 2003, came one of the most beneficial periods in Last Hope’s career, at least regarding their live performances. Now, after 13 years of playing Last Hope are leaders on native stage. And not just on it – they’ve played all across Europe and got on one stage with artists like Napalm Death, Madball, Stampin' Ground, D.R.I., Integrity, Murphy's Law, Agnostic Front, Sick of It All, Merauder, Caliban, Sworn Enemy and many more.
Last Hope's latest album to date - "Test Of Time" - was released in 2007.

Last Hope are active since 1992 and still going on having shared the stage with bands such as Skarhead, Hatebreed, 25 Ta Life or Shattered Realm. They have released a demo in 1994, called Merry Christmas Motherfuckers,an MCD in 1998, called Heart Core and 3 full lenghts: Spirit of Unity, in 2000, Our Second Generation, in 2003 and Continuar a Acreditar in 2007. Musically the band is influenced by old, classic NYHC acts such as Cause For Alarm, Warzone, Agnostic Front or Madball, along with some portuguese punk rock influences of bands like Censurados.

This song is so weird to me, at the same time she recorded this I went to live my dream to meet the UK, not knowing that it would be the most tragic part of my life, as soon as I got there my parents didn't want me back they canceled my tickets to fly back to Brazil, probably thinking that I would get rich or something, my money was over, I could not work since they don't accept anyone outside UK to work, I was in complete despair, I dyed my hair blue, I found some free music lessons to calm my self down, I washed so many dishes and worked so hard just to get humiliated and robbed, I left London and went to Brighton, had the most fun ever, got to a point where I did not minded sleeping at the streets, starvation became normal, praying the whole day not to drown myself into the ocean, I made the most unusual friends, God was everywhere, I knew who I was, I managed to contact people to get me back, putting some sense into my family, in 2015 I saw this, the lyrics, her hair, it was like a gift or maybe the best coincidence, my trip was hell but all about hope and finding myself, I sang this to a musician who was impressed, and somehow that experience ended a decade of depression, I want to live, wanna be an artist, still a long way but at least now I know my path, my point would be to never give up! I just want to share my experience with this song, in hopes that someone who needs it comes across it:

I first heard this song when I was in university, failing a class. While waiting for my final grade to come out, I bawled my eyes out to this song. It was on loop for about three days because I didn’t know what else to do to keep me sane.

I passed the course.

In the in-betweens, I would find myself going back to this song whenever a big stressor came my way. It sounded like home — it sounded like a second chance, like hope.

Now, I’m in medical school and I’ve been having really bad battles to deal with. I almost quit in my first year. This song saved me.

I haven’t been feeling okay mentally with everything that’s been going on recently. I’m listening to it now (coronavirus time) and the mere sound of the guitar reminded me that I went through so many things (and almost-failures) just to get to where I am now. It’s giving me so much strength to continue, no matter how bad it’s looking for me.

This song really means so much to me and I’d like to thank Paramore for bringing it to life. I know my hardships won’t end anytime soon, but it’s great consolation to know that I have this song to run to when I’m in need of a good cry/release.

To anyone out there who’s reading this, keep going, and trust in your spark.

May her soul rest in peace. Losing a loved one is always hard but it's the memories with them that will get us through. I lost my grandpa just a week back and being with family and music has been my therapy. I was in the audience of this performance on this hot, sticky day in July 2014 and I always come back to revisit this memory. I've always loved this song but this performance pushed it up to my top 5 of Paramore. "I don't even know myself at all, I thought I would be happy by now." At the time I was a sophomore in college stricken with depression and debilitating uncertainty in the path I had chosen for myself. 8 years later, I'm a college graduate in a career that I love, surrounded by people who believe in me. I stumbled a lot along the way (and I still do) but this performance always reminds me: "It's just a spark, but it's enough to keep me going".

I finally got to see Paramore in Seattle. Finally. After nearly 20 years of listening to them, and 16 years since I tried to get my parents to let me see them when they came around before.

They played this song, and before the show my friend met me at the venue and gave me a bracelet that says "Last Hope" on it. When it came on I nearly broke down crying.
Last Hope has got me through some excruciatingly rough times. The high I rode on the couple of days following the concert was absolutely unmatched.

In other news, the show inspired me; and I decided to pick up my first Guitar, it'll be here in a few days. Gonna teach myself to play. It's always been a dream to write music, much less play it or.. anything, really.

Love y'all. The 8/9 Seattle performance was nothing short of magical and I hope Hayley recovers quickly.

This is my brothers favorite band. He died February 21st 2015. I know 5 years has past but i only feel him still here when Haley sings. My best friend was killed two months ago, and it's easy to be so much in shock you're in denial of what happened or in denial that you should feel pain, but pain just kind of explodes when you suppress it. To me, this song is about grieving and not be afraid to "let it happen" or to feel pain. You can't be afraid of hurting. At least that's how I relate to it right now.

i like the intro when she sings the first few lines. its very well composed and sounds hit different. imagine this: you're alone walking in the soothing rain as it starts to slowly clear up with a forgiving sunlight. the people who keeps you safe is there to comfort you while you're drenching yourself with your pain. this is what i feel this masterpiece song is; its a song that teaches you to forgive yourself as well as others around you, for being human.
