Hear Me
Latice Crawford Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
And I'm crying
And I'm asking
Myself why me
Why so much pain and heartache
I can't feel no joy inside
I can't get no peace of mind
And just when I give up
You're God
I know you can hear me
I know you're listening when I call
I know you can hear me
And you have been here through it all
(Now I know you'll supply all of my needs)
Lord I'm standing
And I'm waiting
I'm trusting
In your promise
Satan's power it's gotta be removed
Because you are God
I know you can hear me
I know you're listening when I call
I know you can hear me
And you have been here through it all
I don't have to worry
There's no need to fret
I don't have to cry nomore
I don't have to weep nomore
It's over
The lyrics to Latice Crawford's song "Hear Me" express the emotional journey of a person who is going through a difficult time, feeling overwhelmed by pain and heartache, and questioning their own circumstances. The person falls down and cries, asking themselves why they have to suffer so much. They feel no joy inside and cannot find peace of mind. But then, when they remember who God is, they realize that there is hope. The lyrics suggest that the person is praying to God for help, expressing their belief in God's ability to hear them and remember all that they have been through together. They are standing and waiting, trusting in God's promise to remove Satan's power and provide for their needs. The lyrics illustrate the transformative power of faith, as the person moves from a place of despair to a place of hope, trust, and confidence.
