1) Laura Palmer is the alias of a Hungarian minimal and ambient producer. Laura Palmer released the 'Background' album on the Thinner netlabel in June 2007. Laura's tracks are a great example of getting a unique sound by a conscious combination and use of dubby atmospheres, layered keys & chords with techno samples, and minimalistic beat structuring.
2) Laura Palmer (June 2001-March 2004) was started by Alex Caprio (vocals), Nat Roe (Guitar) and Jared Goldman (drums). By the end of the first summer of practicing, Dave Tashjian joined the band on guitar duties. The band went through a ridiculous number of line up changes, most notably when Geoff Horn replaced Goldman on drums in August of 2002, and something like eight bass players.
This band quickly set out to be “The most hated band in New Jersey” and would achieve that status within their first ten shows. Laura Palmer shows were, to put it mildly, violent and epileptic, often relying on strobe lights and industrial spotlights, broken VCRs and computer monitors and flailing guitars and microphones. Outside of the actual song writing aspect of the band, everything else was a joke. No two shows were the same, some of their best known shows include a ballerina on stage, a crippled retard doing stand up comedy, passing out party hats and leighs at a record release show, shit talking every local band they played with, and getting banned from Club Krome.
Laura Palmer recorded two CDs, 2003’s “Denouement” and 2004’s “Jewish Lightning” These were self released records, roughly about 300 copies of “Denouement” exist in the world, and there are only 100 or so “Jewish Lightning” CDs out there, the majority being in Virginia Beach and Staten Island.
The band eventually earned a loyal following and did a number of tours. They also played with such bands as Anal Cunt, Today Is The Day, Cho Experiment, Daughters, Circle Takes The Square, The Mathematicians, Crestfallen, Mannequin, Ruins, Xiu Xiu, Comets On Fire, Mortician, and Soilent Green. They disbanded after struggles with drugs and college. Alex and Geoff (along with their last bassist Pete August and One Cool Guy vocalist Mike Struening) formed Invitation To A Beheading in June of 2004.
3) Laura Palmer is a Brazilian Band.
4) Laura Palmer is used by a 'nugaze' rockband from The Hague, the Netherlands.

This is how I imagined the video should be. Much better than the official one Bastille released. They admit the song was inspired by the TV show. Thanks for this video.

This is pure brilliance, I can't believe in 2014 we can still respect the cinematic masterpiece that was Twin Peaks, kudos to whoever put this video together amazing amazing work and anyone who appreciates good drama should watch Twin Peaks and since I love Alternative Rock such as Bastille this is quite the treat

I loved it!
You even added some little scenes scenes with Audrey, that made me smile widely. :) Thank you!

I had a huge crush on Audrey. I still do...

GREAT video!! This deserves to have more views. I was waiting to see if someone would pair up this song with Twin Peaks.

Thanks alot. I guess the majority of persons that have heard this song have no idea what Twin Peaks is sadly. Thus the small views. But I'm glad you found it and enjoyed it!

I think Laura 's own family and friends were such a disappointment not to mention dangerous to her that she created her own family through Harold Smith, the Log Lady, Johnny Horne and later Agent Cooper.
