This made her the first Italian female to receive such honors. The song "Víveme" was featured as the theme music to La Madrastra, a popular Mexican telenovela, in which she had a memorable cameo appearance.

The lyrics to Laura Pausini's song Amar Completamente describe a rainy September day where two people are experiencing new sensations and reflections in their minds, causing the city to change dimensions. The singer acknowledges that history is repeating itself and their hands have touched before, but it feels like both yesterday and always, yet still different. As the two continue in each other's lives, they provide new colors and fantasies, including a melancholic smile. The singer compares their emotions to a train in motion which leads to a new understanding. However, they both realize that they do not have much time to love each other fully, and they cannot see each other regardless of how much they watch. Amid this realization, the singer acknowledges that they want to be loved fully with sparkling eyes and a newfound serenity that brings freedom.
The song's meaning is about two people who yearn to love each other wholeheartedly but cannot. Although their love is still strong and brings a sense of serenity and freedom, they both feel that they cannot be with each other completely. The song's meaning can relate to individuals who are in a relationship where they feel incomplete or cannot love someone fully, regardless of how strong their love may be.
