I heard this song for the first time a few days ago. I had just finished day one of Priscilla Shirer’s Bible study, Discerning the Voice of God. This song came on and it was as though the words of this song were the voice in my heart at that moment. My relationship with the Lord has been in a dry place for too long, but that morning I felt God speaking again to me, leading me back to streams of Living Water in the desert. She performed this song at my church, 9/13/15, at Spanish River Church in Boca Raton. She worship lead that morning, both the 9:00 and 10:45 service. And that evening she performed a sold out concert. I got a glimpse of her true self, during the concert that evening as I was ushering. Some people act like believers then they are tested and the truth comes out, you can not love God snd hate you brother or sister. She wouldn’t listen to me and she has stuff in her heart that is going to prevent her from entering heaven. Her husband did not want her to hurt me but she didn’t care. God is calling His people. I've been somewhat lost in my faith the last year and just recently noticed that when I was listening to Christian music I wasn't really hearing the message so I got bored with it and started listening to other music (not bad stuff, just not Christian, Godly music) But all of a sudden I heard "what a beautiful name" by Hillsong and I feel like God is reaching for me. He is calling His people to stand in His name.. to be bold and to spread the good news of Salvation! So grateful God is working in me. I felt so distant for so long and it was an awful feeling... NOW when I sing these songs... I sing from my heart. I try not to care about whether someone will see me, or whether I feel condemned because I'm imperfect... God wants a relationship with me just as I am... Please pray for my family. My marriage has been through so much. 16 years together.. and 3 kids. We have so much to learn to get where God would have us be... BUT WE ARE ON OUR WAY AND BY THE GRACE OF GOD OUR MARRIAGE AND FAMILY WILL NOT ONLY BE RESTORED.... BUT IT WILL BE BETTER THAN EVER BEFORE IN THE NAME OF JESUS!
