Wild Honey
Laurie Hugh Lyrics

Wild honey, wild honey, wild honey
Makes me feel like twice the man I used to be
Wild honey, wild honey
Well it don't take but a crack
To drop on the kingdom
Don't take but a queen
I'm a jack of all trades, master of none
I am the one who's gonna get all the fun done
Wild honey, wild honey, wild honey
Wild honey, wild honey, wild honey
She loves you, she loves you, she loves you
I'll never love a girl
She loves you, she loves you, she loves you
Cut down in the wall, you really ought to see
That is the way, wild honey's supposed to be
Wild honey, wild honey, wild honey
Wild honey, wild honey, wild honey
Well it don't take but a crack
To drop on the kingdom
Don't take but a queen
To make that kingdom come
I'm a jack of all trades, master of none
I am the who's gonna get all the fun done
Wild honey, wild honey, wild honey
Wild honey, wild honey, wild honey
She loves you, she loves you, she loves you
I'll never love a girl
She loves you, she loves you, she loves you.
The lyrics of "Wild Honey" by Laurie Hugh seem to speak about the power of love and its ability to transform a person into a better version of themselves. The repeated phrase "wild honey" represents the sweetness and intoxication that comes with falling in love. The lyric "Makes me feel like twice the man I used to be" implies that the singer feels empowered and more confident as a result of this love.
The second verse suggests that it only takes one person (a "queen") to bring an entire kingdom (the singer's life) to life. The line "I'm a jack of all trades, master of none" may suggest that the singer is not highly skilled in any one area but can adapt to various situations. However, with the introduction of "wild honey," the singer feels capable of achieving anything and having "all the fun done."
The chorus repeats the theme of love and the power it has over the singer, as they are in awe of the girl who loves them. The final stanza implies that the singer has broken down walls and is living the way that "wild honey" is supposed to be experienced - freely and without inhibitions.
Overall, the lyrics of "Wild Honey" celebrate the transformative power of love, how it can make a person feel invincible and capable of anything.
