"This song was incredibly gratifying to make, as the writing and production process was experimental, but at the same time it just clicked. After writing so many songs based on the feelings of doubt—because there’s always going to be moments of doubt and fear and nostalgia in a relationship – I wanted to write from another perspective. Sometimes love can be about blind faith."
"I met Travis and his manager earlier this year at a friend’s house and we stayed in touch. When I was looking for a feature for the song, I found out Travis heard it and loved it instantly. We chatted about the song, and then 20 minutes after speaking with him, I had the finished verse in my email. Travis is dope and it’s inspiring to watch him do his thing. I’m glad to have his take on the record."
