Laxer Lyrics

In my bag
For the better
She like a laxer
She like in me
She just lie to me
She just lie to me
Pull strings flew back to the 716Say she proud of me
Took her to the bank
Love me an lie to me
Kick it all up out of me
Pouring up going up
My love is to this cup
I'd lie to you to
Watch who you please
There two of me an one of you
Laxer off the drank and laxer sober
Watch who you talking to
My brother caught a bitch in the chase
70 proof liquor all in this cup
Anything I say she act like a fan
Screenshot an show her friends
Talking like she knew me
Fuck her one time
Bitch for the streets
My Brodie lock it down
When we ain't in town
I'm on a Better way
In my bag
For the better
She like a laxer
She like in me
She just lie to meShe just lie to me
Pull strings flew back to the 716
Say she proud of me
Took her to the bank
Love me an lie to me
Kick it all up out of me
Pouring up going up
My love is to this cup
I'd lie to you to
Watch who you please
In "Better Ways," Laxer presents a journey of self-discovery and emotional navigation, intertwining themes of love, betrayal, and the intoxicating allure of substance use. The lyrics open with a proclamation of being "on a better way," suggesting a shift in mindset or lifestyle—possibly a move towards self-improvement or personal growth. The repetition of "in my bag" signifies being deeply engaged or focused on one’s goals, reinforcing a sense of determination and ambition. The relationship dynamics presented involve a woman who is both alluring and deceptive; she embodies the "laxer" identity that hints at a carefree or reckless demeanor, but there is an underlying tension as he acknowledges that she is not entirely truthful. The mention of her falsehoods introduces a layer of complexity to their connection, challenging the notion of trust within intimacy.
As the song progresses, the allusion to the "716" references a geographical identity (likely Buffalo, New York), which implies a journey back to his roots. This home returns to draw pride and validation from relationships, emphasizing a communal aspect of success. The act of "taking her to the bank" symbolizes both financial prowess and perhaps a deeper emotional investment—showing her the fruits of his labor while paradoxically highlighting the superficiality present in their interactions. Laxer’s acknowledgment that his love is metaphorically directed towards a cup suggests that substance use is a comforting escape from reality, indicating patterns of reliance on alcohol. This duality of affection reflects on the way he copes with pressures and the emotional turbulence he experiences.
The lines portraying deception—“I'd lie to you to / Watch who you please”—indicate a mutual lack of honesty, suggesting that both parties might engage in self-serving behaviors and manipulations. The metaphor of being "two of me and one of you" points to an internal struggle; Laxer is likely grappling with dualities within himself: the persona he presents versus his true form. This disconnection might mirror his relationship with the woman mentioned. The reference to "70 proof liquor" builds on the theme of intoxication and escape, enhancing the notion that he frequently finds solace in bottoming out rather than facing reality and emotional truths.
Ultimately, the repeated refrain of being "on a better way" resonates as a hopeful assertion amid the chaos of relationships and substance use. Laxer expresses a desire for growth, despite heavy contextual clues of indulgence and disillusionment. The juxtaposition of personal advancement against a backdrop of lies and reliance on intoxication highlights the complexities of modern relationships that navigate between genuine feelings and the burdens of deceit. In this exploration, Laxer seems to be defining his identity through both the highs and lows, contemplating what it truly means to find a "better way" amidst contradictions and challenges.

Things to consider when researching laser treatments:
1. Past a certain level of acne scars, you will never achieve perfect skin texture. Please, weigh this with your budget. At best, these procedures can give you a 30% reduction in scarring. At worst, it will do nothing. That's about $500-2000 wasted.
2. The depth and texture of your scarring dictate what laser you can use. For more topical scarring, resurfacing does a decent job. For moderate to severe ice pick scars, you will need fillers. No laser currently goes deep enough to effect moderate to severe ice pick scars.
3. None of these effects are permanent. That's right, you HAVE to return to the office every month to 2 months. These procedures do not fix, they alleviate the appearance for a short duration.
As someone who has struggled with anxiety and stage 4 aggressive acne, I've done everything there is: vampire facial, IPL, Erbium laser, CO2 Laser, Microneedling etc. I even have my own regimen at home to supplement my treatments from the clinics.
However, my skin will never be perfect. This is after 5 years of continuous treatments and meticulous home care. Why? The level of acne I had has scarred my skin to a level that can't be fixed unless I do invasive surgery or fillers. Fortunately, if I continue getting maintenance work from the clinic and keep up with my own skincare, my scars look decent unless I am tired or dehydrated. When I'm tired, you can see everything.
Hope this helps. The main thing is to have a healthy level of expectation. Some of us are lucky and have scarring that can be fixed straightaway by these procedures. The rest of us will need actual surgery to even come close to perfect.
