Le’Andria is a living testimony of faith. Prior to being crowned Sunday Best, Le’Andria auditioned for the gospel competition a day before she lost her home in foreclosure. Deciding to let nothing stand in her way, the then Sunday Best hopeful traveled to New Orleans and auditioned in flip flops and gym socks, she was almost eliminated because she did not look the part, according to show judge Erica Campbell [Mary Mary]. After her rendition of “This Is the Day the Lord Hath Made,” she was on her way to fulfilling her life-long dream of a career in music.
Signed to Music World Gospel in a joint venture with BET with the Sunday Best brand, Le’Andria released her debut project, The Awakening of Le’Andria Johnson on September 6, 2011. Le’Andria’s new single, “Jesus” is produced by GRAMMY® Award winner Chuck Harmony (Rihanna, Fantasia, Chrisette Michele). “Jesus” is an urban contemporary song, with traditional gospel roots. In it, Le’Andria offers a soulful and stirring testimony about the difference Jesus has made in her life, and she makes an impassioned plea to the listener to turn to Jesus and “call Him like you want Him, call Him like you need him.” The song is a showcase for Le’Andria’s unique combination of power, skill and reverence, which made her a favorite of Sunday Best fans. Le’Andria loves the single and its message, and she believes her fans will be blessed by it. She is excited about all the songs on the CD and can’t wait to perform them for audiences around the world. She hopes that her songs will make a difference in people’s lives.
Le’Andria is an accomplished songwriter, producer and praise and worship leader at her hometown church, HQ Ministries in Altamonte Springs, Florida. A self-taught musician, she began singing at the age of two. She continues her commitment to the music ministry of her hometown church.
“We can’t just reach in the circle, we have to do like the Bible says—go out and compel them to come in,” she says. A licensed minister, Le’Andria believes that singing is her God-given talent, but that ministry is her calling. As the season three winner on Sunday Best, she now has the platform to touch countless lives by doing both.
Le’Andria currently resides in Orlando, Florida and is a single mother of three children.

I pray for you
I hold my pillow tight
For now that will have to do
'Cause you were not here
I guess that's for the best
But I don't know
I hope you do less talking and
Baby show me, oh God
Baby, I am
Honorable, I am worthy, desirable
A provider, my best friend
Who will be there till the end
Baby
Committed, able, faithful
A provider, my best friend
Who will be there till the end
God you know what's good for me
Leaps away, oh
And guide my foot steps Lord
'Cause my heart can't take another break
You were not here I wasn't sure at first
But I know, I know there's someone
Designed for me whose perfect fit and the to my soul
Oh God
Baby, I am sure
Honorable, I am worthy, desirable
A provider, my best friend
Who will be there till the end
Baby, I am sure
Committed, able, faithful
A provider, my best friend
Who will be there till the end
(Walk like you)
I wanted to walk like you
(Talk like you)
I wanted to talk like you
(Live like you)
I wanted to live like you
(Just like you)
Just like you
(Make me like you)
Make me like you
Patient, fruitful, courageous
A martyr, a best friend
Who will be there till the end
(Make me like you)
Make me like you faithful
Fully committed, able,
A provider, a best friend
Who will be there till the end
Who will be there till the end
I know that he will be there till the end
Le'Andria Johnson's song Make Him Like You is a powerful ballad about a woman's yearning for a partner who will reciprocate her love and treat her with the respect she deserves. The song begins with a prayer, as the singer holds her pillow tight and asks God for guidance and strength. She acknowledges that her love interest is not with her at the moment, but hopes that he will return, ready to prove himself and show her that he truly cares. She expresses her desire for a partner who will walk, talk, and live like her, and who will be her best friend and faithful companion until the end.
The lyrics of this song convey a sense of emotional vulnerability and honesty, with the singer revealing her fears and desires to her audience. The prayer motif adds a sense of spirituality and deeper meaning to the song, emphasizing the importance of faith and trust in the face of uncertainty and disappointment. The repetition of the phrase "make me like you" in the final verses is a powerful affirmation of the singer's commitment to finding a partner who embodies the best qualities she aspires to, and who will be there for her through thick and thin.

First of all leandria, sis youve ministered to so many through all of your struggles and youve shown all of us how to triump through adversity. I love the fact that you are just real, you dont hide or sugar coat anything for anyone, and besides your anointance your transparency is why your ministry grow as well as it does.
Of course you and I both know where theres joy there pain where theres sunshine theres rain, so people are going to talk but thru it all the joy pain sunshine and rain are all needed for us to grow. So sis pact what the demons say under your feet and allow it to keep building you higher in the Lord. Little do they know the more they talk about you, the higher Gods elevating you. Love ya sis, and this song as ALL of your others Blessed my soul...#judgenotthatyebenotjudged
