1. Chris and Aimie are two young Irish friends making noise in the Irish and US live scene.
LE BOOM began formed in June 2016 and, since then, have brought their electro-indie-house-pop show to cities such as New York, Reykjavik, Cork, Belfast, Galway and their hometown of Dublin.
LE BOOM's late-night shows are a frenzy of glass-bottle beats, layered loops, catchy vocal hooks and sweaty fans who dance like no other fans in the world.
LE BOOM's only release, What We Do, received airplay on both US and Irish radio. It featured in TV and ad campaigns including one for Absolut Vodka.
2. Le Boom is an indie band from Denver, Colorado known for its upbeat and danceable rock/pop music. It was the brainchild of lead singer and songwriter, Maylyn Martinez, and was formed in 2004 when she and lead guitarist Kyle Loving separated from their former band, Doozer. They completed their new lineup by uniting with bass player Dave F. Moore and drummer Tyler Dokken.
The band released its first album, Got It Tied, in 2004, which immediately received a Critic’s Choice endorsement from Westword Magazine, a weekly Denver periodical. Le Boom has played in numerous Colorado venues, as well as many outside the state, and as a result has built up a dedicated following. Their most visible gig was a performance at Denver’s Gothic Theater in April of 2005 which was filmed and broadcast on Denver’s Heartbeat, a cable TV show about Denver area bands. According to Sherry Lee, Executive Producer of Denver’s Heartbeat, Le Boom was the most popular band ever to appear on the show.
The band is currently working on a second album due for completion at the end of 2006 or beginning of 2007.

Fucked us up
I call it fear,
You call it love,
But you know
I've been down here before
Just like a leaf
And feed me to
The autumn breeze
You know
I've been down here before
And I know what it's like
You say 'Hands down by your side'
It feels like something new for you
But it's just what we do
So hide your face
In winter light
And wipe the smoke
Out of your eyes
Because you know
I've been down here before
And I know and I know and I know and I know it's true
I get it from you
I get it from you
And I know what it's like
You say 'Hands down by your side'
It feels like something new for you
But it's just what we do see less
The lyrics to Le Boom's "What We Do" describe the effects that city life can have on people's emotions and relationships. The opening lines, "City lights, fucked us up," suggest that the fast-paced, high-pressure environment of the city has taken a toll on the two lovers in the song. The singer acknowledges that he sees their current state as fear, while his partner sees it as love. However, this difference in perspective is not new to him, as he has been "down here before," suggesting that he has experienced similar relationship struggles in the past.
The chorus implies that the both lovers are aware of their destructive patterns but cannot escape them. The line "So crush me just like a leaf and feed me to the autumn breeze" suggests resignation to the cycle of breakups and reunions. The following stanza also alludes to this familiarity with their situation, with the singer saying "I know and I know and I know and I know it's true, I get it from you." This line indicates that the unhealthy patterns in the relationship are cyclical and that they both contribute to them.
The final lines of the chorus, "You say 'Hands down by your side'/It feels like something new for you/But it's just what we do," indicate that the lovers have been in this situation before and that while it may feel unfamiliar to one of them, it's just a routine for them.

Because it's not current, these guys are late to the party. This sound is about 10 years old it sounds like the ting tings ffs. And their style is already cliche, you can't expect a band from Dublin to be current because there is too much of a trend delay, things move so fast that by the time something reaches Dublin it's already tired. They need to move to London or something but even then they would be up against more creative and talented people, they would end up working in Starbucks ...
