Her mother, is a great influence in her career. She also finds musical influence in artists such as Jill Scott, Patra, Junior Gong, and many others. She enrolled in extra curricular activites in high school such as piano lessons and choir and everyone soon realised that Lea-anna became the star of every concert and recital. She had sang in the presence of the Prince of Wales and in 2006 she offered her rendition at the Stephen Lawrence memorial (a teenager who was racially attacked and fatally stabbed in 1993). In 2007 Lea-anna's mother introduced her to Reggae producer Bigga, it was then she recorded her first ever song, a cover version of Tracy Chapmans Bang Bang Bang, this spawned the oppertunity for her to do some back up singing for Queen Ifrika at the 2007 Rebel Salute. During this time, Lea-anna began to explore and experiment with writting. After working with a selection of producers, it wasnt long unil she was introduced to Wundah (Blessed Youth ent) and she wrote and recorded in 2010 her single Kisses which was placed on the BBC Radio 1Xtra playlist and the two contiue working and recording together. Shortly after came songs like Kitty Kat, Sway and Murder off Robbo Ranx Champange Campaign riddim all displaying strong influence from her Jamaican culture.
