In 2004, Michele played "Shprintze" and "Chava" in the Broadway revival of the musical Fiddler on the Roof. Regionally, she has appeared in the title role in The Diary of Anne Frank.
Since the age of 14, she played the role of Wendla in Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik's musical version of Spring Awakening since early workshops; following it up to the Broadway production. Around the same time the show was set to go to Broadway, she was given the role of Eponine in the Broadway revival of Les Misérables. She chose to remain with Spring Awakening, which debuted on Broadway December 10, 2006. Michele was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for her performance in Spring Awakening, as Lead Actress in a Musical.
On May 18, 2008, Michele left Spring Awakening with co-star Jonathan Groff and was replaced by former Wendla understudy Alexandra Socha. She performed in a reading of Sheik and Sater's new musical, Nero, in July 2008 at Vassar College, also featuring Idina Menzel and Michael Arden. On August 8, 9 and 10, 2008, Michele portrayed Eponine in the Hollywood Bowl's Les Misérables concert.
Michele can be heard on the original Broadway cast recordings of Ragtime and Spring Awakening, as well as the 2003 revival recording of Fiddler on the Roof.
Michele starred in the Fox television show Glee, where she played the star female singer of a high school glee club, Rachel Berry. The pilot aired on May 19, 2009, and the show aired on Thursday nights on FOX. The show ended after 6 seasons on March 20, 2015.
Lea Michele will be making her public debut as Fanny Brice in Broadway’s Funny Girl on September 6th, 2022

Hey, standin' ovation,
Ooh ohh yeah, yeah yeah yeah.
You look so dumb right now,
Standin' outside my house,
Tryin' to apologize,
You're so ugly when you cry,
Don't tell me you're sorry 'cause you're not,
Baby when I know you're only sorry you got caught,
But you put on quite a show (oh),
You really had me goin',
But now it's time to go (oh),
Curtain's finally closin',
That was quite a show (oh),
Very entertainin',
But it's over now (but it's over now),
Go on and Take A Bow, ohh ohh.
Grab your clothes and get gone (get gone),
You better hurry up before the sprinklers come on (come on),
Talkin' 'bout girl, I love you, you're the one,
This just looks like a re-run,
Please, what else is on.
And don't tell me you're sorry 'cause you're not (mmm),
Baby when I know you're only sorry you got caught (mmm),
But you put on quite a show (oh),
You really had me goin',
But now it's time to go (oh),
Curtain's finally closin',
That was quite a show (oh),
Very entertainin',
But it's over now (but it's over now),
Go on and take a bow, ohh.
And the award for the best lier goes to you (goes to you),
For makin' me believe that you could be faithful to me,
Let's hear your speech OUT...
(But you put on quite a show
You really had me goin'),
But now it's time to go (oh),
Curtain's finally closin',
That was quite a show (oh),
Very entertainin',
But it's over now (but it's over now),
Go on and take a bow.
But it's over now
In Lea Michele's 2009 hit single Take A Bow, she confronts an unfaithful lover who is trying to win her back, but she sees through their insincerity. The song's opening lines, "Ohh how about a round of applause, hey standing ovation" suggest that the lover's efforts to get back in her good graces deserve recognition, but Michele quickly reveals that she is not fooled by their apologies, calling them out with lines like "you look so dumb right now" and "you're so ugly when you cry." She dismisses their insincere apology with lines like "don't tell me you're sorry 'cause you're not" and "please, just cut it out."
The song's chorus, "but you put on quite a show, you really had me goin', but now it's time to go, curtain's finally closin'" reinforces the idea that the lover's apology is nothing more than a performance, and that it's time for them to exit the stage. The lyrics "grab your clothes and get gone, you better hurry up before the sprinklers come on" signal the end of the relationship, and Michele is ready to move on.
In conclusion, Take A Bow is a powerful anthem about seeing through insincerity and taking ownership of one's emotions. Michele's commanding vocals and smart lyrics deliver a powerful message about the importance of honesty and self-worth in relationships.

They always manage to do this.
First they kinda dated I think, Finn said he doesn’t wanna be her boyfriend
The moment Rachel finds someone, Finns wants to be with her
Rachel makes out with puck because she’s angry that Finn did slept with Santana, he dumps her
Rachel wants to be back with Finn, he’s with Quinn
Rachel with Jesse, Finn overprotective and still loves her
They get together after Nationals
Finn let her go when she goes to New York, he didn’t call of text her in months
Comes back when Rachel was kissing the other dude, who I’m pretty sure no one cares
Rachel dumps him because he’s being sorry
Finn wants Rachel when she was dating the dude

Or what you said
The logic of glee
