In Lech Janerka's song "Ur", the lyrics describe a strange and unique place located within the singer himself. It is a place that allows him to remember every moment, but it is also a place where it constantly rains. The singer then describes the city around him as being filled with sick minds that vibrate and never sleep. However, the city helps the singer to die and that is something he enjoys. He describes it as a shiver. The city offers the singer everything but he advises others to learn tough words.
The song is about finding comfort in a world that is difficult and painful to live in. The singer takes solace in the dark and melancholic surroundings of the city because it offers him a level of detachment from everything else. The phrase "Ur" is actually derived from the German word "Ursprung" which means "origin" or "source". It is believed that Lech Janerka used this phrase to suggest that the city is the primary source of all pain and suffering in the world.
