Seeing Christ in everything is essential for one's spiritual growth

I been to china mayne I seen some real persecution
Being exposed to the harsh realities of persecution in other countries

If Jesus was not a part of one's life, would it make any difference?

One's actions should reflect their love for Christ

Man what's the point of living if I'm living for myself
Living a life of selfishness and self-preservation serves no purpose

Lord empty out my life before I put you on the shelf
Asking God to remove anything hindering one's ability to serve Him wholeheartedly

Giving everything for God's work, not wanting to die without fulfilling His purpose

It's too many people living who ain't heard about my christ
The urgency to spread the gospel to those who haven't heard it yet

Went to asia had to duck and hide-for sharin my faith
Facing persecution and hiding for sharing the gospel in other countries

They tell me water it downwhen I get back to states
Being told to tone down the gospel message in western countries

They say tone the music down you might sell a lot a records
Being pressured to make music for profit instead of solely for ministry purposes

But it's people out here dying and none of em heard the message
The urgency to spread the gospel to those who haven't heard it yet

Take me out the game coach
Asking God to remove one from ministry if they cannot give their all

If can't give it all I got and leave it out there on the court
Only preaching the gospel with full commitment and passion

That mean that we, should be out up in ok streets
Taking the gospel to the streets and sharing it with others

Sharing the gospel is simple, not complicated

Why we ain't doing what we read
Questioning why believers are not actively preaching the gospel

Appearing to be spiritually asleep and unaware of the urgency to share the gospel

Believers who have been saved by God's grace

Act out, what he said
Living out the commands of Jesus, not just hearing them

And make a scene for the lord
For God's glory, living a life that is a reflection of Christ

Scripture's like a mirror
The Bible is a reflection of oneself

The truth is closer than it appears
The truth found in Scripture is within reach and waiting to be applied in one's life
