This girl is gorgeous. When my girlfriends and I got together to go to the fair or the beach we all dressed this way. Just cutoffs, halter tops, barefoot and braless. No one wore wigs, hair extensions, fake nails, makeup or tattoos, nothing but a beautiful tan and a smile. We had the time of our lives during those summers. Great music and fun, fun, fun!!! A very different time in the late 60's and early 70's!

I was just a little boy at the time, but I remember my mom and aunties just as you described... I hope this doesn't sound weird but they reminded me of rabbits or deer out in the forest north of where I live in Saskatchewan, like we were just another species of animal but that were more like naturally fitting it to our environment somehow. It was a while after, but I remember going to the beach once the summer where the radio played, "Band On The Run" 20 times a day, and, yep, they cutoffs, halter tops w/ no bras and the skimpiest bikinis (it is burned into my memory, a woman wearing a crocheted bikini with holes big enough to leave absolutely nothing to the imagination, lolol, one of my first sexual feelings ever, bless her heart).

Thanks ponygirlUSA for bringing back an awesome memory for me that I haven't thought of I be more than once or twice since that day, and sharing your own which were a delight to read as well.

I miss the non-entitled, free spirited ladies/relationships from these days (I was a teen then), and all of us were appreciative of the other, without many complications.

I was young, but not overly unwise back in the day, and appreciative of what we had back. It wasn't as complicated just being us back in those days. Nowadays, everyone is worried about your motives... back then? Not so much.

I miss all of us :o)

There are several clips of this on here, some with no lyrics covering everything up. I made the comment a year or two ago. She has a smoothness to her dancing. I can't think of the correct word. She is not jerky, like many would be. I actually danced to this when it came out , with a pretty blond, at a Christmas dance about 1966, I think. The blond I was with,  was a good dancer, but lacked the stuff to jiggle when she danced.  Those were fun times.
