Lee Harvey Osmond Lyrics

My brain said hug you is I step down on the track
TH and Big Ghost spittin' through broken glass
I've gotta keep on working can't afford a fight
I gotta keep on movin' if I'm gonna see your face tonight

Do you wanna know?
Do you wanna know?
Do you wanna know now baby?
Do you wanna know about this mess?
I'm just a loser without your love again

I'm still inlove with the girl that you used to be
A little Jesus walking on your endless sea
What just in I'll guess don't try to shake your knees
Let breaking lazy in lost in an endless sleep
For you

Do you wanna know?
Do you wanna know?
Do you wanna know now baby?
Do you wanna know about this mess?
I'm just a loser without your love again
I'm just a loser without your love again

I'm still in love with the girl that you used to be
A little Jesus walking on your endless sea
What just in I'll guess don't try to shake your knees
Let breaking lazy in lost in an endless sleep
For you

Do you wanna know?
Do you wanna know?
Do you wanna know now baby?
Do you wanna know?
Do you wanna know?
Do you wanna know now baby?

Do you wanna know about this mess?
I'm just a loser without your love again

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Lee Harvey Osmond's song "Loser Without Your Love" is a poignant narration of a person who is struggling to deal with the feelings of loneliness and desperation after losing the love of their life. The song starts with the singer contemplating a hug as they step down on the track. The lyrics "TH and Big Ghost spittin' through broken glass" implies that the person is trying to keep themselves together even though they are broken, much like shattered glass. The lyrics "I've gotta keep on working can't afford a fight, I gotta keep on movin' if I'm gonna see your face tonight" symbolizes the struggle we face in life to keep going despite our obstacles.

The chorus of the song "Do you wanna know? Do you wanna know? Do you wanna know now baby? Do you wanna know about this mess? I'm just a loser without your love again" highlights the feeling of desperation in the singer's voice. They are crying out for their loved one to understand their situation and come back to them because they can't survive without their love. The verse "I'm still in love with the girl that you used to be, A little Jesus walking on your endless sea" is a reminiscence of the singer's memories of their love.

The second verse acknowledges the reality that the person can't get over their love and is still in love with the girl that "used" to be. The lyrics "Let breaking lazy in lost in an endless sleep" symbolize the person's depression, where they feel lost and lazy, unable to move forward in life. The song ends with the chorus, ringing out the person's pain and desperation over and over again.

@musicloverkathy

The last time I saw you live was when you played with Brent at the London Music Club . Your son was on stage with you and my date, a Seneca College professor, now deceased, was transfixed by the connection between you and your son. He wasn't a music person so I found it quite moving that that's what he took away from that evening. It was really lovely.
