It might just be me, but their voices sound more mature, full, and they seem very comfortable on that stage. They look like they are having the time of their lives as they reminiscence. and that makes me so happy. I can't even describe what a beautiful this drama was, can you all imagine if they were all together?! I would be so happy! Well, it's age factor of course (and also lifestyle; drinking, smoking, etc). Back then Hongki was known for his high notes. But over the years his vocal range seems to have narrow a bit (perhaps also due to his nodules), thus explain why his singing style nowadays seems to showcased/focused more on his lower register and raspy, husky unique voice. Even during the chorus part of both songs, esp Promise, it seems much easier for Yonghwa now to sing the higher notes whereas Hongki mostly sings partially. Imo, Yonghwa has a higher vocal register compared to Hongki (though he can still reach the range, albeit straining), and Hongki has a lower register compared to Yonghwa.
Oh, how I missed the good ol days of Kpop. If only A.N.Jell was real.
With recent "big scandal" surrounding both Jonghoon and Jonghyun, I hope the rest of the FT and CNB members can stay strong and able to overcome this heavy test. I can only hope for the best. After all, they're my first and ultimate Kpop fandom (and still are to this date).

They do sound pretty much the same but before, maybe they went a bit soft at the first part, but Yonghwa's rap near the end is not as light and has quite the beat. Also the version of Promise most of us are used to includes Jang Gun Seok's voice, who was the main singer. The other OST version was sung by mainly Hongki, which sounds pretty much the same as here except maybe higher than here and whereas Yonghwa only did the raps before but here in the concert, he actually sang a lot of the verses. Also I think Hongki sang lower here. And they even sang in harmony with each other.

Actually maybe they sound the same because I've heard other songs by them after this. Now that I re-listen to Hongki's studio version, his voice was so clean and clear that it does sound like a younger voice. But I heard Hongki singing Severely, which stylistically is similar to his voice here. Maybe Hongki's voice is overused like Hyolyn because it's a bit more rough compared to before. As for Yonghwa, I have heard both ballads and rock so I think he's quite versatile. He even covered one line from a Chinese song written by JJ Lin called Practice Love.

@@everuby4787 no you're wrong... it is not about experienced or whatever.. it is simply because idol of first and second gen have different vibe and attitude. and it is golden era of kpop because they are so many shows that allowed idol being casted. idol being matched/loveline (girl and boy) without getting hatred from their respective fandom (well maybe there is hate comments but not like this new era). And how award shows stages being distribute based on seniority not based on popularity. oh the best thing are mix stages between groups during awards show.

feng sasamoto same here.. I was introduced to the Ftisland through this movie. Until now they're the only Korean band that I always listening to. Moreover, Hongki's voice is versatile and the band's music goes well with him. Ftisland never disappointed me in every year their music coming out despite of lack of appearance in Korean music mainstream scene. I really hope that they will never break up and stay together forever.

When I watched the drama I didn't know how it means so much to see a two kpop artists who comes in a different band, singing together just for a drama like as if they are really in a real band.
