Take These Chains From My Heart
Lee Roy Parnell Lyrics

Take these chains from my heart and set me free
You've grown cold and no longer care for me
All my faith in you is gone but the heartaches linger on
Take these chains from my heart and set me free

Take these tears from my eyes and let me see
Just a spark of the love that used to be
If you love somebody new let me find a new love too
Take these chains from my heart and set me free
Give my heart just a word of sympathy
Be as fair to my heart as you can be
Then if you no longer care for the love that's beating there
Take these chains from my heart and set me free
Take these chains from my heart and set me free

I remember this song. Ronnie Dunn of Brooks And Dunn did this song with Lee Roy. I remember this song from 94. I miss Lee Roy and what happend 2 him? At the end of the song the gutars sounds like the 1 in Garth Brooks Song "AINT Goin' Down Till The sun Comes Up".

I literally just asked another musician about Lee Roy Parnell a couple of hours ago.

What did happen to him? That's a good question

Love all your music and I especially love those boots. Wish you were around a lot more. You could bring country back.

Lee Roy Parnell sounds a lot like Ronnie Dunn. I thought that's who was singing this when it first came out on the radio in 94.
