Shut Down
Legend Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I'm always looked over, I'm fighting the fight
Without me in your corner you won't see the end of this
There is a light at the end of the tunnel
Who will be there to defend what you love?
I am the last of the dying breed of people who give a fuck
Try your best to find someone who hasn't let it go to their heads
I owe you nothing
Wrapped up and forced to leave what you love
There is a bigger meaning you're in or you're not
I know who I am, and what I have to do
I'm always looked over, I'm fighting the fight

Without me in your corner you won't see the end of this
There is a light at the end of the tunnel

The way the songs flow into each other on this record is amazing. Haven't heard this kind of holistic album writing since Meshuggah's Catch 33.

Still one of my favorite albums of all time. Its hard to find an album you can listen to all the way through with no skips.

@PINQINQ

Wow, I loveee the part starting at 1:31 where the broken pattern begins, then at 1:37 where the drums take off into a straight double bass pattern. Sick transition!

@thecoldnovrain89 Yeah pretty unique. I had the opportunity to see them a couple of times and each time he changed up his drumming. He stuck to the drumming he did on the album but it was always different and tasteful. He said that he'll still be around and producing so I'll be stoked to see what he comes out with.
