Come On Get It
Lenny Kravitz Lyrics

Illusions I can't by words explain
Caught up in nothing
Confusions has turned my world insane
Deliver me from loneliness
Deliver me from selfishness
Deliver me from brokenness
I thank you father
For giving me life beyond the grave
Blood is the power
So now I don't have to be afraid
I hear the truth, I know the taste
I read your word, I feel your grace
I need to do an about face
Right into you so we can get it all together
We can get it all together
Get it together
We can get it all together
Get it together
We can get it all together
Get it together
We can get it all together, gether, gether, gether
Oh, it feels so good to be alive
I'm gonna do my thing, fulfill this life
Walking right in my path today
Yeah, I'm gonna hold your hand tight all the way
Deliver me from loneliness (deliver me)
Deliver me from selfishness (deliver me)
Deliver me from brokenness (deliver me)
Deliver me so we can get it all together (get it all together)
Oh, yeah, c'mon
We can get it all together
We can do it, we can do it, oh
Yeah, yeah, c'mon
We can get it all together
Oh, alright, c'mon
We can get it all together
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Oh yeah, c'mon
We can get it all together
The lyrics to Lenny Kravitz's song "Come On Get It" are about a man who is deeply in love and longing for his partner's physical and emotional love. The chorus, "Come on and get it," is a plea to his partner to give in to their mutual desire and satisfy his craving for her. He compares himself to a canine, eager and loyal, and asks to "eat from [her] vine," implying both physical desire and wanting to share in her passions and creativity.
The verses of the song go deeper into his passion, as he declares his love and need for her. He cannot resist her love and is "drunk" on it, unable to turn it down or ignore it. He wants to "drink [her] wine," take her from behind and please her the whole night through, showing his intense desire for her. The repeated phrase "Come on and get it" is a powerful and primal expression of his need for her, urging her to join him and fulfill both of their desires.
This song is a sensual and sultry expression of love and desire, with pounding drums, driving guitars, and Kravitz's passionate vocals conveying the intensity of his emotions.
