1) a rock music project from Italy.
2) a Brazilian country music singer from Goiás state.
2) a Brazilian gaucha music singer from Rio Grande do Sul state.
3) Serbian neoclassic metal band.
4) Leonardo Ringo, an Indonesian musician, Zeke and The Popo Band, from Jakarta
Inspired by Lou Reed, Richard Hawley, Jeff Buckley, and Tom Waits, Leonardo (drummer from Zeke and the Popo, Indonesia) decided to record his own album which to be named "The Sun" from November 2008 to January 2009. It consists of 13 tracks, each brings a warm atmosphere and a chaotic experience at the same time. Blended with acoustic ambiant, combined with brass section, string section and even gospel choir. A little bit of chamber pop, jazz, swing and a drip of rockabilly, hopefully brings Leonardo to a refreshment for Indonesian pop-culture male-vocal scene. Produced by Hendra Perdana a.k.a. Anda (ex-guitarist of a well-known Indonesian rock band, Bunga) and Dharmo Soedirman (a jazz activist from Komunitas Jazz Kemayoran), this album is a melting pot from an icy thick wall from the two genres. Supported by Rayendra Yuditia (ZATPP), Susan Agiwitanto (Tika and In Memoriam), Emil Hussein (NAIF) on bass, Christo Putra on drums, Anda on electric guitars, Dharmo Soedirman on piano, Mian Meuthia and Mian Tiara as backing vocals, Melanie Wilson from "Amazing in Bed" as guest vocals, Ricky Surya (White Shoes & the Couples Company) on cello, Filipus Davefriz on percussions, will make this album a heat; like the sun, in 2009.
Leonardo is a project born from Trent Gardner (Magellan) with the aim to put on a record the life of the great italian genius Leonardo Da Vinci.
Many singers played a part in the project, most notably James LaBrie (Dream Theater, Frameshift) and Trent Gardner himself.
The full cast follows:

Lorenzo de' Medici -- Josh Pincus

Please Come Home For Christmas
Leonardo Lyrics

Oh what a Christmas to have the blues
My baby's gone, I have no friends
To wish me greetings once again
Choirs will be singing, 'Silent Night'
Christmas carols by candlelight
Please come home for Christmas
If not for Christmas, by New Year's night
Friends and relations send salutations
Sure as the stars shine above
For this is Christmas, yes Christmas, my dear
It's the time of the year to be with the one you love
So won't you tell me you'll never more roam
Christmas and New Year's will find you home
There'll be no more sorrow, no grief and pain
And I'll be happy, I'll be happy, once again
There'll be no more sorrow, no grief and pain
And I'll be happy, happy Christmas, once again
The opening lyrics of "Please Come Home for Christmas" speak to the heartache that many people experience during the holiday season. The bells that usually signal celebration now bring sad news to the singer, adding to the loss of the person they love, who is no longer with them. The singer also feels alone, without any friends to wish them greetings once again.
The next verses offer a glimmer of hope, with choir singing "Silent Night," a carol sung by candlelight. However, the heart of the song is the refrain, where the singer implores their loved one to return home for Christmas, or at least by New Year's night. The song plays with the theme of "homecoming," a common trope at Christmas time, but puts a twist on it by making the loved one's presence the only thing that can make the singer happy.
The final verse repeats the plea for the loved one to come home, but also promises an end to sorrow, grief, and pain once they do. The last line of the song is the singer's declaration of happiness that they hope their loved one's return will bring. Overall, "Please Come Home for Christmas" conveys the deep longing and sorrow that the holiday season can bring when someone is absent.
