Some Say
Leontiou Kristian Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

No more trouble in my soul
No more time to make me whole
So today I try to tell you
I'll be on my way

Show me where the answers lives
Show me where the truth forgives
In my head I've tried to reason
I'll be on my way

Some say, the road is clear
Some say, confront your fears
Some say, but can you feel the love that do?

Why do people always change?
When memories aways stay the same
In my head I've tryed to reason
I'll be on my way

Some say, the road is clear
Some say, confront your fears
Some say, but can you feel the love that do?

One day we will be free, under the summer sun
And you will see
One day we will be free, under the summer sun
And you will see

Some say, the road is clear
Some say, confront your fears
Some say, but can you feel the love that do?

Can you feel the love
Can you feel the love
Can you feel the love
Can you feel the love that I do?

Can you feel the love
Can you feel the love
Can you feel the love
Can you feel the love that I do?

Can you feel the love that I do?

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Leontiou Kristian's song "Some Say" reflect the confusion and uncertainty of a person who has gone through a difficult time and is now ready to move on. The singer says that they have no more trouble in their soul and no more time to waste. They want to know where the answers live and where the truth forgives. They have tried to reason everything in their head and now it is time to say goodbye and be on their way. The chorus is a repetition of "Some say," which seems to suggest that everyone has their own advice on how to live life, but ultimately, it is the individual who has to decide what is best for them. The singer questions why people always change, while memories remain the same. The final lines of the song offer a glimmer of hope that one day they will be free and bask under the summer sun, and one day everyone will see.

The verse "Some say, the road is clear; Some say, confront your fears" highlights the dichotomy of opinions that one faces when trying to move on from turbulent times. The confusion on whether to confront fears head-on or to take the path that feels right is what the singer is debating. The singer is entirely aware of the notion that they have to make sacrifices in order to reach their goals. In the chorus, the repeated phrase "Can you feel the love that I do?" underscores the singer's desire for connection and understanding, even in times when they are trying to detach themselves.

8myhomework I hope not! It seems to have been obscured, at least for a while, by the trial circuses.

@hotforcrime9733

Meredith incarnated inner and outer beauty, integrity, warmth, charm, wit and radiance...if only her path hadn't crossed those whose acts were the exact opposite....beautiful and soulful song...a wonderful memory to cherish. It takes but one tragic circumstance or icy blast of ill-fated wind to blow out a candle no matter how brightly it burnt.

@walkwithrach22

Meredith is immortalized in this hauntingly beautiful video. Truly hope justice is served tomorrow.

Poor Meredith. A beautiful young life cut short so brutally. Let justice be done.
