Les Blaireaux's song "Les aventures du baron perché" tells the story of a nobleman who decides to leave his luxurious life and become a man of the woods. The Baron de Calvino becomes known for living high up in a tree, enjoying a simple and carefree life. He spends his time playing games with baboons, taking natural showers under waterfalls, and eating unripe apples just to pull off the feat of Newton's apple falling. The Baron's choice to live differently from the norm catches the attention of the King, who becomes angry with envy as his courtiers start climbing trees to imitate the Baron.
The King threatens to cut down the Baron's tree, but the latter does not take it lightly. He exposes himself to the woodcutters to scare them away, and then devises a peace treaty with the King, where the trees will not be cut down, and the Baron will retract his backside from the King's view. The song encourages people to live life on their own terms, to be happy and proud of the way they live, not shying away from their choices just because they are different. The message is that if one lives by their true needs and desires, they will be truly happy.
