Beaucoup de villages de régions ont dégradé au Québec depuis la mode du tout-à-l'auto et l'apparition des centres d'achat que les gens aiment principalement à cause de leurs stationnements immenses. Les rues principales c'était des petits magasins indépendants alors que les centres d'achats cest beaucoup de grandes chaînes pour la plupart étrangères. C'est triste ça fait beaucoup moins de vie dans les centres villes de région.

Il ne s’agit pas de phénomène strictement québécoise. La même chose est arrivée en Ontario pendant les années 80s. Le gouvernement provincialle a subventionné plusiers villes d’environ 100,000 habitants à démolir leurs rues principalles et bâtir des centres d’achats, dont presque tous étaient basé d’Eaton’s. Rien n’a réussi.

i was on a tour boat in Cuba of all places with a bunch of french Canadians, Cuban tour guide starts playing this song on his phone w/ a bluetooth speaker. The French Canadian boomers went absolutely mental. Good times.
