O aller? O aller? Coooomandante? (bis) J'irai devant, j'irai marcher A donde vamos ? A donde van ? (bis) refrain

Overall Meaning

The song "Commandante" by Les Fatals Picards is a call to action for a revolution. It starts by talking about a people who are rising and a generation that feels enslaved. The lyrics suggest that the future is only a matter of time and it is the present moment that will matter. The singer then sings in Spanish, asking "Compañero, where is the sun?" which could symbolize the search for hope and light in the midst of darkness and despair.

The second verse talks about the struggles of the people, who crawl in the desert and starve to death, but rise up again like a resonating revolution. The lyrics show a desire for change, which is fueled by the struggles of the people, the bitterness of waiting, and the frustration of hopelessness. The chorus is repeated several times, with the singer shouting "Commandante" at the end, which could be a reference to a leader who could help bring about the desired change.

Overall, "Commandante" is a powerful song that highlights the struggles of the marginalized. The lyrics call for a revolution and urge people to rise up and fight for change, rather than waiting for someone else to bring it about.

MangezDesPommes

The Nanoman6666
