Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Les Fatals Picards's song Premier de la glace tell the story of a kind, friendly ice cube. The first verse mentions that on the day of his birth, he was lucky that his mother hid him behind the hamburger meat, which alludes to his creation in a freezer. The ice cube then spends his days attached to the thermostat, his favorite TV channel being the cold chain.
