The group has notoriously shrouded itself in mystery, seldom touring and releasing very few records, usually with no discernible label. Their sound presages the later psychedelic experimental noise of 不失者 (Fushitsusha), High Rise and others in the current crop more than any other Japanese psychedelic group from the late 1960s.
They were formed in 1967, and the band was known for their ties to avant-garde theater groups (as typified by Shuji Terayama's troupe) and leftist political groups, as well as for their feedback-drenched live shows and use of strobe lights and mirror balls onstage, which earned them comparisons to The Velvet Underground.

Ok, I've been searching for the source of the image in the album cover. Of course it's probably a reference to the yodo-go highjacking but the plane in the picture was not the one involved in that event and there were no explosions either, thus the picture is not from any event surrounding flight 351. Furthermore, the letters on the side of the plane seem to spell 中国 which would mean it's a Chinese plane. If anyone knows anything about the picture or which incident it depicts, I would greatly appreciate you for telling me.

Did some searching and I'm pretty sure it's a China Southern Airplane. China Southern Airlines Flight 3943 is the only incident I could find revolving around that airline, although it's circumstances would deem to take a picture such as the one on the album to be impossible. Keep me updated if you find anything =)

There are a lot of versions, because this band hasn't got any official releases, only bootlegs. This version is the one i like best.

They take the Merseybeat to its logical conclusion on this one :-O

You can try the "77 Live" version. It's way more abrasive and reverbed than this one.

What year was this? 73?
